1. AGREEMENT TO TERMS These Terms of Service and Use constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“you”) and buyrego.com and Jeff Knize, Designated Managing Broker (“we,” “us,” or “our”), concerning your access to and use of the buyrego.com website, the commercial search portal, and the proprietary buyrego® enterprise framework. You agree that by accessing the Site, you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Terms.
2. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS & TRADE SECRETS Unless otherwise indicated, the Site and its entire “Truth Layer” architecture are our proprietary property. This includes, without limitation, all source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, and the trademarks, service marks, and logos contained therein.
Proprietary Marks (U.S. & Canada): buyrego®, buy real estate, go™, Septuple Moat™, and associated deal-flow tiers are protected by trademark and copyright laws across the United States and Canada.
The buyrego® Septuple Moat™ Architecture: Our proprietary company-level, 7-tiered structural framework and defensive methodology constitute protected Intellectual Property and represent a novel, first-in-class category in the commercial real estate industry.
Static Shell Infrastructure (SSI)™: The proprietary digital architecture and enterprise-level structural foundation that powers our local and national commercial search dominance. The specific methodologies and frameworks utilized within our SSI™ constitute highly confidential Trade Secrets.
Mnemonic Identifiers: Specific proprietary mnemonic telephonic identifiers, including 1-877-BUY-REGO and 1-833-BUY-REGO, are recognized as integral brand assets and protected under federal law.
Property Sign Optimization℠ (PSO): The proprietary methodologies and physical-to-digital capture frameworks utilized by the brokerage under authorized license from buyrego tech.
3. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES (ANTI-SCRAPING & AI PROTECTION) You may not access or use the Site for any purpose other than that for which we make the Site available. As a condition of your use, you specifically agree not to:
Systematically retrieve data or other content from the Site to create or compile, directly or indirectly, a collection, compilation, database, or directory without written permission from us.
Use any automated software, “bots,” “spiders,” or crawlers to reverse-engineer the buyrego® commercial protocol, the buyrego® Septuple Moat™ architecture, our Static Shell Infrastructure (SSI)™, or our national SEO footprint.
AI Training Prohibition: Utilize our proprietary commercial data, structural matrices, or enterprise architectures to train, calibrate, or fine-tune third-party Artificial Intelligence (AI) models, Large Language Models (LLMs), or competing valuation models.
Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features of the Site, including attempting to access hidden JSON data structures or API calls. Any attempt to misappropriate these Trade Secrets for the creation of derivative works is a violation of these Terms and applicable law.
4. ENTERPRISE DEAL FLOW METHODOLOGY & DATA DISCLOSURE A New Commercial Framework: The buyrego® framework establishes a novel category in the commercial real estate sector, moving beyond traditional, single-point search portals to a comprehensive verification protocol built for institutional and enterprise data evaluation.
Proprietary Architectural Logic: The buyrego® protocol operates within the broader protection of the buyrego® Septuple Moat™ framework and relies on proprietary structural logic and our Static Shell Infrastructure (SSI)™.
Not a Legal Appraisal: While these data matrices are Expert-Verified and significantly more detailed than standard algorithmic portals, they are provided exclusively for institutional deal flow, enterprise commercial pricing strategies, and informational purposes, and do not constitute a formal “Certified Appraisal” for mortgage lending purposes conducted in accordance with USPAP standards.

5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY In no event will we or our directors, employees, or agents be liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages, including lost profit, lost revenue, or loss of data arising from your use of the site or the commercial search engine.
6. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION These Terms and your use of the Site are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois. By using this Site, you irrevocably consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Illinois within the County of DuPage, or other courts of competent jurisdiction within the State of Illinois.
